No Pain, No Gain

I’m at day 19 of regular exercising and the phrase that stricks with me right now says,”no pain, no gain”. I don’t know who originally said that, but whoever it was, I totally get it!

I’m still at the stage where I’m feeling the muscle soreness a few hours to the day after. I mean, it is a stage, right? Or is this going to be a long term thing? Do you just feel sore all the time when?

Anyways, I am proud with my consistency. I thought when I was starting out it would be a hard habit to keep up. But I’ve found it to be quite the opposite. I enjoy working out to some of my favourite music and I find that it helps set the tone and pace for everything I do. I also find that I have more energy and feel generally better since I’ve started exercising. My mood had also improved. So, there is benefits to the enduring the occassional soreness.

Any tips/ advice from exercising veterans? What do you like to do? Is there anyone who’s just starting off like me?
